Manual routing every hour

In connection with the preparatory work for the new tunnel, manual routing has been implemented on highway 42 south of Tonstad.

Motorists traveling on the FV42 section south of Tonstad must expect waiting time and traffic jams as manual routing and a traffic control vehicle have been implemented on the section from Monday (April 28).

Agder County Council, which is responsible for the work, says that the following traffic flow will apply until the end of June:

Traffic will be sent by lead vehicle from the north every hour and will return from the south afterwards.
This applies from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day, Monday through Saturday.
Regular buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed through at all times.
This will take place over the next 3-4 weeks. The completion date of the facility is 27.06.2025.
