From Oslo to Stavanger, via the Suleskar road, the distance is 443 kilometres, and estimated travelling time by car is 7 hours and 10 minutes. Recently, several road stretches in Telemark county have been renovated, making the travelling time between Eastern and Western Norway even shorter.
If you want to stretch your legs and enjoy your packed lunch, there are a number of nice picnic areas along the way. Or you can make a food stop in one of the villages – Dalen, Valle, Sirdal or Byrkjedalstunet – or the city of Sandnes.
