For several years, over 7,000 kg of salmon have been caught in the river. The fishing season starts on June 1st, but there is limited 24-hour card sales during the first 14 days. A fishing spot at Gjedlakleiv, right by E39 before Saglandsbakken, is adapted for wheelchair access.
