In the gallery building at Grimdalen you also find an art exhibition with paintings from The Dream Poem (Draumkvedet) by the artist Karl Erik Harr.

The Grimdal farm lies 630m above sea level. The museum comprises the original 10 farm buildings and corn mill together with their contents. The oldest building is from the late middle ages and the youngest from 1850. This farm is special because all of the buildings are in their original positions and are authentic.

There is a nature path from the farm which has information on plants and animals which are common to this area.

The Grimdal farm is 9 km from Dalen on road 45 from Dalen towards Setesdal.
