The resting area is located 868 masl in a protected area (Setesdal Vesthei - Ryfylkeheiane Landscape Conservation Area). The place is called Håheller. For hundreds of years, people have been able to seek shelter under large rocks (heller) when crossing the mountain.
Håheller picnic area has toilets and an interactive information board . The interactive information board is full of fascinating facts about the protected area and the wild reindeer. You can also take a walk on the prepared nature trails (approx. 2 km).
Close to the picnic area is the large dam by Roskreppfjorden, which is easy to spot as it is located right by the road.
