Natural attractions such as Gloppedalsura, a scree with giant boulders that once upon a time rumbled down the mountainside, are exciting to explore; so are the large dams and reservoirs. At Byrkjedalstunet you may say hello to the Three Billy Goats Gruff or take part in candle-making, and the activity park in Eidsborg has an archaeological excavation site where you may find relics from the Iron and Middle Ages.

Also bear in mind that large parts of the Suleskar road run through remote areas in nature – with several tenting opportunities close to the road.
